If you’ve ever laughed at a #hot_takes Slack message, debated whether McTigue is worth more than 1,000 bid points, or found yourself silently calculating the worth of CMC consulting events, you’re not alone. Kellogg is full of strong opinions—and we think that’s worth celebrating.

That’s why we launched The Kelloggian.

We’re Shade Bullock and Cathy Campo, and as Co-Editors-in-Chief, we’re here to spotlight the voices that make this place electric. We believe the Kellogg experience doesn’t just happen in classrooms or boardrooms—it happens in group chats, in the Gordon’s line, and in all the tiny moments that add up to one or two unforgettable years.

The Kelloggian exists to bring these moments to life. It’s a space for commentary, creativity, critique, and chaos. We were inspired by the unapologetic honesty of the #hot_takes Slack thread and the undeniable vibrancy of our student body. Everyone here has something to say, and we think more of it deserves to be heard (or read!).

So, who are we?

Shade studied Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and has a strong multimedia background, having worked as a journalist and anchor at NBC. Together, we’ve edited scripts, op-eds, and headlines—and we’ve built The Kelloggian to be a place where all of it belongs.

Our goal is simple: to reflect Kellogg back to itself—louder, funnier, and more honest. You’ll find essays, satire, interviews, advice, and the kind of insights you won’t get from a CMC session. Whether you’re serving up a scalding critique of recruiting culture or a dramatic retelling of your 2AM Uber to Chicago, this is your stage. We hope you’ll read, write, argue, laugh, and maybe even roll your eyes.

This is your student publication. Make it yours.
